Your Secret You

Practical and profound ways to overcome stress.

Turning Lies Into Reality

One cunning trick that people of the world will try on you, is speaking in an effort to make their lies your reality.

For example, someone who has a lot of guilt in how they treat their children may say, “I love my children so much. As you can see, I don’t neglect them. In fact, I’m here with them all the time.” While they may say and repeat this many times, you notice that their actions do not match at all.

What this person is betting on, is that you will listen to your crooked human nature. Crooked human nature does not want to believe that their neighbor neglects and hates their own children, but saved human nature can’t help but see through it all. This trick has a hypnotic power that is intended to get you to supress what you know is right, and supress what your own eyes see in front of you. It’s almost as if the wicked person is asking you to “repeat after me,” until they can get you to repeat their own lies without their intimidation. Notice this behaviour the next time it appears in your life.

A person who eats junk food may insist that he eats the healthiest diet compared to anyone around him. A self-centered egotist is always having to say how humble he is. A liar is always talking about their dedication to honesty. Someone who hates others always talking about how generous they are and how they support all kinds of positive causes. Disregard their theatre show, and see what’s right in front of you to see. Rest assured that evil cannot hide itself forever.

  • They want to give you the fake image they have of themselves in the hopes to make you support it.
  • If you don’t reinforce the fake image, they can be extremely upset.
